Robert Hower is an eminent academic figure, having held the position of Chair and Professor Emeritus of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Arlington. During his tenure as Chair from 2005 to August 2019, the department experienced remarkable growth, with undergraduate majors surging from 450 to over 800.
